Room ventilation
Simple storing
- Suitable for storing on temperature
- Easy in use
- Relatively low investment for a box storage
Why room ventilation?
Room ventilation is the only storage system that does not force air through the product. It only controls the air conditions in the room. Therefore the drying ability is very limited. It is also more difficult to change the product temperature. Are these limitations no issue in your application? Then room ventilation is interesting! The system asks for a relatively low investment for a box storage, and it occupies relatively little space. Moreover, not all boxes have to be exactly equal, and there are no demands regarding their set-up. Therefore, room ventilation is frequently applied to store a dry product on a constant temperature. Easy, and cheap!
How does it work?
The fans in the Room Ventilation Units (RVU) force the air upwards. That is how the air is thrown over the boxes with product. The RVU has openings in the sides, just above ground level. Through these openings the air enters the RVU again. The result is a natural flow of air through the room. Any air treatment usually occurs inside the RVU. Every unit is equipped with an inlet hatch directly below the fan. Usually we position the outlet hatches in the same wall.
Room ventilation and cooling
It occurs regularly that our customers combine room ventilation with cooling, to be able to store on a desired temperature for a long period. Do you consider this combination too? Have a look at our OmniFrigo. The OmniFrigo is basically a room ventilation system and cooling system in one unit!
