Suction ventilation
The best air distribution
- Good drying performance
- Minimized running hours
- Long rows of boxes possible (up to 25 boxes)
Why a suction system?
A suction system gives the best air distribution in your store. The advantage? You need less running hours to get your product dry, and to realize a homogeneous quality. Therefore you will save energy, and seriously reduce the weight loss due to dehydration!
How does it work?
A suction wall has a suction opening between each 2 rows of boxes. The space between the boxes, and in front of the opening, is called the ventilation duct. It is covered by a suction cover. In the ventilation wall the fans force the air up, creating an underpressure in the wall and in the ducts. This underpressure sucks the air very uniformly through your boxes and product. Any air treatment, such as heating or humidifying, should occur before the air flows through your product. Therefore, air treatment occurs above the product. In a suction system, the inlet and outlet hatches are always placed in the same outside wall. The outlet hatches just above the fans, and the inlet hatches a little higher.
Make it easier and safer
To put the suction covers over the ducts, someone has to walk over the boxes. That is unsafe, and inconvenient. Therefore we equip many suction systems with a handling system for the suction covers. A rolling system mainly enables you to put the covers away easily. When you opt for a lifting system, you don’t have to get on top of the boxes at all. You can control the suction covers safely from the ground!
